Since you're using a 900 I'd go a 60W and the 75W might work in the 1200 , check the temps and see ,if not you might need 100W

The enclosure for the netted is 900x600x600 timber enclosure so will 40w phillips still be enough and 75w for the large glass tank

the 1 light should do but the problem will be that glass doesn't hold heat and if it's a mesh top all the heat will go out through the top especially...
