My brother found this gecko what should be done?

This fellow was found and put into my tank before I have gotten my dragon. Can some identify this gecko and what should be done with the fella. Mind you Canberra is bloody cold right now.DSC_0032.jpgDSC_0033.jpg

I kept a baby pest gecko over winter last year (partner found him frozenish in the wood pile by the shed). Just popped him in one of those little 30cm glass vivs with a low wattage bulb and fed him baby woodies after he defrosted, then when the weather started to warm up he went back out to the wood pile. He wasn't handled and he had to catch his own woodies as I just threw them in so I hope he went ok. I made sure he wasn't put anywhere near my beardie too in case of parasites or viruses he may have been able to pass on, then when he went back out the little viv was emptied and F10'd before I put anything else in it. Not sure if there is even parasites or viruses the two share, might be worth a check in case you need to do the same before you put a beardie in yours though.

    Thanks Guys!
Brought the Lil fella crickets. What's weird is seeing crickets climb on the fella, like on he's head and he just doesn't give a bother.

Best thing to do is let it go. The cold will not bother it, and given it's probably been brumating outside will be the reason it's not going to feed. They love stacked timber with tight crevices.

Righteo Wally, I'll place the fella in the wood shed. Got no wood though, plenty of other stuff with tight spaces. Canberra gets bloody cold, but hey reptiles have been living in the Canberra since it was named Canberra. Don't see no reptiles this time of year, so it was odd having my brother found him running around.

I would suggest you go through this link, http://allpetsdirectory.com/category/reptiles/ I am sure you'll get the information you are looking for. Geckoes are good pets, maybe you could just take care of it and this link is good gor you.

This thread is 3 years old and it's not legal to keep a wild reptile as a pet.
