    No longer my 1st attempt

Well i will have to say.. with alot of different setups tested i have finally, got a working combination for both, Superworms and Mealworms.. I think now my biggest issue was using too much substrate and oats (oats did not work for me) as i believe to may oats allowed the Beatles the eat the eggs..

I change my substrates to bran and using similar method to the screen drop through method (my mesh and beatles sits directy on to of the bran) has allowed me to be successful.. very happy now as i have heaps and heaps of both Supers & mealworms.. i have to admit the mealworms grow faster than the Superworms..

For the mealworms i have just placed a thin layer on top of the screen which is regularly topped up, and give them well basically the leftovers of vegies from our dinner.. i have found that they love apple cores.
