    Pink Shed on head

I bought my beardie like 2 weeks ago and since then he has had some pink spots on his head. Is this just a normal/really thick shed or something serious?

It maybe the lighting but it does look weirdly pink. Never seen it before, see how it sheds and if you are worried about it, off to the vet

    solved

I just started scrubbing my beardie gently with a toothbrush and realized that the pink coloring came off a bit and is probably the red sand the seller kept her in. I gave her several baths already in the last few days and it didnt come off, wich means that the sand mustve gotten into her scalation pretty deeply. Well, another case of NBOS (new beardie owner syndrome) solved and another argument against sand found!

Argument about red sand yes, but not sand as a whole. Bunnings play sand is great

Glad you solved it. Cute dragon, even with the pink head

not sure if they have the "the green snot box in Germany" but they would have to have some kind of wasted and screened sand (and uncoloured),something suitable for kids sandpits
