    HELP! Beardie not eating!!

    Hi All,

My beardie will be 2 in a few months and about three weeks ago came out of her second brumation.

For the past two weeks now she has not been eating ANYTHING. I have offered her silkworms, repashy, mealworms (all things she would usually love), and she just turns her head away at them. She has also been very restless since waking up - scratching at the glass, running around her cage.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can get her to eat? I'm worried about her starving and she looks like she has lost a little weight. Is there anything I can feed her?

Seems you are not on your own. There has been several posts lately asking the same questions. Give it time to come back around. One thing is it won't starve to death. Hunger will take over

Thanks, I hope she is alright. Still not eating but seems to have settled down a bit.

Unfortunately I am still having trouble getting her to eat. I think she is losing weight but it is hard to tell. Could there be anything wrong with her that might stop her eating? Any other symptoms that I should be looking out for?

some dragons are just difficult feeders,I know I have had a few.And I know I am not Robinson Crusoe, unfortunately there is no magic bullet.Sometimes they come good through perseverance or changing the diet or changing the lights.Sometimes they just pass away no matter what you do. hopefully your girl will come good!

Thanks all. I have bought some pinkies but she does not seem interested in them at all. Also seems very restless again.

I almost think it would be good for her to try to mate with a male. Maybe that would settle her down?!

Out of all my dragons, only 2 will accept the very occasional pinky. Putting your dragon with a male may settle her down but you need to think about all the extra mouths you are going to have to feed etc

So my beardie still isn't eating much. Perhaps one to two mealworms a day at the most.

She is losing weight now. Still seems active and is basking.

I'm wondering if I should try and start feeding her Repashy through a syringe?
