    exactly; if it's say 30C I give a 2 hour siesta in the middle of the day,if it's say 40C I might give a 3-4 hour siesta,if it's hotter I turn off the heat all arvo just leaving on the UV

    so it doesn't get too hot,central bearded dragons can tolerate temps up to about 45C,pygmy bearded dragons can only take temps up to about 42C.
    Anything over this can cook your dragon,I know ,I have actually had one die of heatstroke
    slave to centrals, pygmies, central netted , bluies , pygmy banded pythons ,australorps and loving it !
