Taking on a disabled bearded dragon

    Hi guys,
Today Ill be taking on a disabled bearded dragon, hes only a baby and is missing the toes off his back right leg and is missing his tail, other than that he seems to be all right. I have the basics down, enclosure, heat, food. Is there anything else I need to know??

I have had hunchbacks and twisted dragons and currently have a deformed western bluey with a twisted skull and 1 eye. All the above lived full lives although some had some weakness with coccidiosis or other parasites.A little extra care or meds might be needed but they all carried on as normal.

Nice to see you taking the poor little guy on
I would offer him a little more calcium than usual atm and vitamin powder twice a week.
A bit of natural sunshine will help him a lot too.

it's amazing how much the spine can straighten out over time.I had 1 hatchie who was bent at about 90 Degrees at birth as he formed in the wrong position in the egg (much the same as my son who was born with a squashed face but normalized over time ) who became almost 180 degrees in a few months. As he grew he became straighter .
