I still wouldn't give up on him Dave, they seem to come and go several times before finally closing the door.I've got a couple I thought were gone but have re-emerged and others who have disappeared momentarily who might come back again. After 15 years or so I am always surprised. The first few times I was shit scared but now I know that nothing is normal.

Good to know! Leaving heat and light on for now. Hoping he might come out for a feast and fatten up a bit

Have been leaving heat on overnight for these chilly nights, mid tank temp of 24deg, day time temp of 32 (26 cool end) in a bid to keep him awake. Come home of a day, and he's hiding under the log, seemingly awake though.
I've removed a few items from the enclosure for now, giving him two different hides.
Also, as I don't feed him live food in his enclosure, and the top opening melamine feeding box meant the 'big scary human' looms above him when placing him in and taking him out, I picked up a 45x45x60 exo Terra tank for feeding.

'feeding' was 5 small crickets, hardly a feast, but he's having something at least. Not touching his greens. Thinking maybe getting my hands on either silk worms or soldier fly larva? Thoughts?

Seems to be a very high enclosure. No way you could get correct temp at the basking spot. UV would also be too far away

That's just the feeding enclosure (15-20 mins a day) , still using the 5ft enclosure for his main enclosure

Wouldn't happen to know a good supplier? Thinking soldier fly first for ease of care and smaller size seeing as hes still only 18-19g
