I got Dex out of his hide to have his bath as he had eaten a handful of woodies prior to retiring, since then he is still finding corners etc to sleep in during the day, but hasn't gone back to his hide and I have found him near his basking spot from time to time - thinking the warm change has perked him up a bit.

Not convinced I should be feeding him yet, but if he's still up tomorrow, I might have to go pick up more woodies for him.
Opie hasn't been in her hide but she is still down the cool end. She is more "awake and alert" but not budging. She ate 4 silkworms and it looked like that was under sufferance, normally she bolts from one end of the tank to the other for a silkworm. It's clear she has no interest so after she poops and I give her enclosure a clean, I will let her sleep.

So,how is everyone going with the early brumation?
I still have several dragons out although a bit slower than normal, it seems to me that the females are giving up earlier than the boys. Central and Pygmy.
I fed all the boys today but no sign of females, I know it's been raining here for a couple of days but I don't think that's it.
The frillies are still going ( both females) the central netted are still going (1 of each) obviously the baby dwarfs are still kicking on.

Opie is out for the count. Has been for the past week. Maybe it's a female thing, I could curl up and sleep at too

Mine is down. Gave him a bath a week ago, put him back in, sat very dormant for a couple of days then dug himself into his cave, haven't seen him since.

These two are wide awake, new guy is smashing every food source in sight while The Stooge looks on in horror at the decimation of his personal pantry.

So I just got home from work and someone has come out of her hide and is awake. Do I turn lights back on? Do I just wait it out? Opie is being extremely female like in that she can't make up her mind lol

Leave the lights on until she finally makes up her mind, they tend to wander in and out for a few weeks before they finally settle

Thanks Rick. She has gone back again now. I will leave her lights on and just watch her.
