    Enclosure advice

    Hi guys,
    New to keeping reptile.
I need some advice as i planning getting a custom made enclosure for the bearded dragon.
I thinking of the size is 1200600900( high)
What are the pros & cons for this extra tall enclosure? Will it be good for the bearded dragon ?
    Thanks

Welcome Ddragon, you don't really need an enclosure that big.1200x600x600 would be fine, the extra height would allow the dragon to climb but it would be hard to get the heat gradient right. You would need a massive globe at the top but then the beardie wouldn't climb all the way and the floor would be too cold.
Beardies don't climb very high as a general rule, they do climb up posts etc. to look for food but spend most of their time closer to the ground.
If you were making a house for frillies then I'd say go for it , as they love to climb. Mine are in a 1200x600x1200 and they spend most of their time near the top.

Hi there and welcome. I love the logs and so does your beardie by the looks of it. I would ditch the paper towel though - long term use can cause issues with their feet. Most of us here use washed and dried play sand from bunnings. Its safe and hygienic when spot cleaned each day and they love to dig in it.

Is that a super worm I can see along the front? My eyes aren't what they used to be - I spend wayyyyyyy too much time on computers.

nice branches in there, plenty of climbing to do but I don't see a hide unless it's hidden behind the log
