    Wild One

Hello, Have just moved into a little house on a park on the Gold Coast. Ist day in the garden there be a bearded dragon , about 350mm, sunning herself/himself on a little stone retaining wall. I think it lives in the hollows of the retaining wall. Wasnt sure it was a beardie so looked it up- definitely a beardie.
Ive never had lizard pet, couple of snakes,. I liked it immediately and look for it whenever I go into the garden and its been there every day for about a fortnight.
I decided to irregularly leave a little food out for it but came home with cat kibble and haven't seen it since I went shopping.
We have had temperature drop and so brumation might be the issue.
Im a busy guy with lots on and was surprised how quickly I became attached to the 'backyard beardie'.

Hello Ian. Welcome to the Forum. I wouldn't try to feed it as that may attract predators. It has obviously been finding plenty to eat.
The rain might be an issue and l woke up cold this morning even thought it was 19 deg.
