    Lighting dome

Hi everyone, i just got my bearded dragon a new light the Exo Terra - solar Glo 160watt and im now trying to find a lighting fixture, our current lighting socket is only 50Watt but the only sockets i can find the go past 150w is the 200wat sockets but they don't have a Dome on them.

Can i use the 200w socket without a dome? or can someone suggest a place i can get a dome from without the socket attached?

    thank you

should add we have a 200cm length x 52c width tank - yes a bit extreme for the size of tank but Mushu loves it

Hello and welcome to the forum, that light is much too big for your tiny tank and you certainly don't need a dome unless you want to fry your scaley friend. What you really need is a 1200x600x600 enclosure with a 125W Solar Glo. Make sure you get a ceramic E27 fitting,as plastic wont take the heat and mount it inside the enclosure
