I can't offer any more advice than we all have, It's all down to local conditions and individual behaviour. Some critters will sleep no matter what you do and some will stay awake with the right stimulation. It's all down to what your dragon will do.

They are definitely individuals--Shayvele, my girl, spent all day in the same position in her favourite corner, except when I waved a dandelion in front of her. She gobbled it down, then resumed her original position. She just seems to be slowing down week by week but will still pick out her favourite foods from her salads (and throw away the stuff she doesn't like this week).

After being in her hide , eyes closed and not budging for 10 days its heat and lights out for Opie now. She goes down in Feb each year and nothing I can do will stop her so I just let her do her thing now.

Well done, you have worked out her pattern, this makes it easier for you but newer people haven't had their scaley friends long enough to recognize a pattern.

Although with the changing weather patterns it is getting harder to predict brumation.
Despite saying that all my dragons are still kicking along I have noticed that a couple are starting to hide out and not eating as much lately. And so it begins.
