Reptile One / Get Your Pet Right Thermostat & Timer

    Hey there,

Does anyone have any experience with (or a manual for) this Reptile One thermostat? I believe the Get Your Pet Right thermostat is the same, just branded differently.

I have the daytime cycle (6am - 8pm) working fine, but since it has gotten cooler at night I wanted to use a ceramic bulb to offer heat through the night cycle (8pm - 6am).

I can't for the life of me get the night cycle on the second plug (ceramic) to run later than midnight, so I've just set it to run 24h and I manually switch the bulb off in the day, and on again at night time.

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers!

Thanks dragonlover1, yeah watched that one to get the main setup working, but it doesn't quite cover what I need for the night cycle - I can't get hold of either company to ask either.

I just knew that a thermostat should be considered is an essential piece of safety equipment rather than control. It shouldn't be thought of as something to try and keep the basking area hot, but to keep the cool end at the right temperature for the bearded dragon to retreat to when it gets too warm.

Sorry, I missed your replies - the thermostat died, so I've reverted to timers and thermometers, much more reliable!
