Hi guys got my first beardie last week and would really like some advice please I have 1200 wide tank with a 23w uvb10 globe and a 100w infrared heat lamp where I got him from they said set temp at 30 degrees at hot end and just leave it on 24/7 I don't think it's right 20220508_172910.jpg20220508_172910.jpg I have put photo in

hello Rumble and welcome to our forum, you have come to the right place.
First up the cool end should be about 28C and the warm end should be about 38C with the basking spot about 40-42C.
Second the heat should NOT be on 24/7, dragons come from the desert where it gets freezing cold at night. We recommend UV on for 12-14 hours a day and the heat for 10-12 hours, obviously this varies according to season.
Third IR lights aren't really beneficial, lot's of people tell you beardies can't see red light but this is false.
Most of us buy Philips spot lamps from the hardware store, not only much cheaper but more effective.
Obviously this is just a quick reply but it gives you a start point from some-one who actually keeps and breeds dragons.
If you need any more info don't be afraid to ask

the 1 light should do but the problem will be that glass doesn't hold heat and if it's a mesh top all the heat will go out through the top especially as we move into winter. You might need to wrap the back and sides with some insulation, foam, cardboard or a towel are some ways to achieve this. You might also need to partially cover the top.
Yes that was me at Illawarra
For the Netted I'd use a 60cm enclosure 10UV lamp and a 40W Philips spotlamp with similar furniture to your beardy

The enclosure for the netted is 900x600x600 timber enclosure so will 40w phillips still be enough and 75w for the large glass tank

Since you're using a 900 I'd go a 60W and the 75W might work in the 1200 , check the temps and see ,if not you might need 100W
