    Question Brumation coming up

    How is everyone's dragons going?
Are many sleeping yet or is it still full steam ahead?
Some of mine are slowing down, the veges are not being eaten as quickly by most but still eating a bit. I see more waste than usual.
1 of my pygmies has been caving for about a week but all the others are still out and about.

    Hi
My daughter has a 15 week old Pygmy bearded dragon who is now just started to dig in the sand and hide under things
So far we have got her out to feed her each night is this the right thing to be doing? We have never owned these little guys before
    Any help would be appreciated

if it's only 15 weeks I would be trying to keep it awake, Although sometimes it is impossible because nature calls.
Is your enclosure made of glass or wood ?
Glass doesn't hold heat very well but if you have a glass one try wrapping it on 3 sides plus part of the top with cardboard or foam or even towels to retain heat. You might even need a bigger lamp, what is your basking temp ? You really need to have about 40-42C at basking spot, 35-38 at hot end and about 25-28 at cool end.
Pics of your enclosure would help

33 is way too low, no wonder she wants to sleep. Try the insulation method I suggested, otherwise you might need to get a new enclosure

OK I don't see a UV lamp in there and your ceramic heat emitter (CHE) isn't much use. You need a heat lamp (Q; what is the sun? A; it is a bright white light) your dragon is missing out on sunlight. This can be obtained cheaply at your local hardware store. Many of us use a philips spot lamp, available in wattages from 40-100W and only cost $7 for 2. Unfortunately the UV can only be obtained at a pet store and are not cheap.
You have to have a UV10 lamp to provide your dragon with the necessary UV rays for healthy life.

My 10 year-old femaie has been spending most of her time under her hammock on the cool side for about a month. She will still eat a nasturtium or two if offered but otherwise looks like she's settling in for a nap. My shinglebacks can't seem to decide what to do and my bluetongue was buried in her substrate for about a week, came out, ate some dog food and went back to bed. So lots of drowsy lizards here.

if that is above the mesh it isn't doing any good. Mesh cuts out most of the UV, it really needs to be on the inside, about 30cm from the basking spot
