centipedes!? In my bioactive set up

    Hello,
    My bearded dragon's name is Elliot. He's a 3-year-old het-hypo leatherback.
I've discovered a few small centipedes in his enclosure. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem, knows how to get rid of them, or knows the most likely cause of their introduction to Elliot's enclosure.
As it's a bioactive enclosure, it has years' worth of isopod, springtail, mealworm, and darkling Beatle colonies which I would understandably not want to sacrifice unless necessary.

    Thanks,
    Elliot and Concerned Guardian

Hello and welcome to our little forum. First up I have to say I know very little about bioactive enclosures and even less about centipedes, never having had much interest in either. But if it has been working for you then keep it up, I don't suppose another little critter is going to make much difference.

Hi there - I have had centipedes in my woodies when I have bought them and actually have them atm in my breeding tub - they don't seem to cause any issues
